The ARA's dual polar patterns allow you to easily record a single voice or an entire room. Choose "Front" (cardioid) when you want to focus on a single voice directly in front of the mic, blocking out sounds from the sides. Use the "Front + Back" setting (omni) when you want to record sound from all sides of the room, for example multiple speakers or an entire band at once.

You can use Ara on your desktop, on a stand, on a boom, or even on the go directly to your mobile device (separate adapter required). The USB connection option, as well as its own drivers, make the device simple to use. Plug-and-play - nothing else is needed!
